Harvest Festival
On Wednesday 12th October; children , staff, and parents joined to celebrate Harvest in separate KS1 and a KS2 services led by Revd. Sarah. It was wonderful to see the children sharing their learning about Harvest. With the focus being on Senses (smell, taste, hear, touch, and see) the children shared the reading of poems, prayers, artwork, stories, and not forgetting 'messy play' with fruit and vegetables from Year R. Using their senses, the children certainly enjoyed sharing the fresh bread at the end of our celebrations. It was lovely to hear the children singing their Harvest songs, including the Choir performing, 'For the beauty of the Earth'.
This year, we are again supporting the Andover Food bank, an important charity that help local people. Thank you families for all your donations, we were blown away by your generosity.
