Shipton Bellinger Primary School

Home Learning

At Shipton Bellinger, we provide opportunities for children to continue their learning and share experiences at home. Each week, we provide a series of suggested tasks.  We always promote daily reading as well as spelling.  There is also a writing, maths or creative task, extended with a challenge activity.  Your child will be provided with a paper copy of the home learning each Monday, which is stuck into their home learning book.  A copy is also shared on Google Classroom.

We also utilise Spelling Shed and Times Table Rockstars as a way of engaging our pupils into fun, exciting activities that develops a thirst for learning.  The children are set learning that is appropriate for their age and stage. They are then able to complete a range of activities to boost their knowledge interactively.
