Rural Schools Rounders Tournament 2023
On 16th June, Year 5 and 6 has the opportunity to take part in the rounders tournament hosted at Harrow Way Community School. I was a wonderful opportunity for the children to demonstrate their batting and fielding skills. We all had a lot of fun and was great to see the children represent Shipton. Great sportsmanship was shown at all times. The children worked well as a team, congratulating each other. We came 2nd out of 8 teams. Go Shipton!
Rural School Cricket Tournament 2023
On 16th May, some of our Year 6 children were lucky enough to take part in a cricket tournament. It was a chance for our children to play cricket with other schools in the local area. . All 3 of our games were very close and there was only a few runs in it. It was great to see some excellent bowling and fielding!
Andover Rural Football Tournament 2023
Year 5 and 6 took part in the Rural Football Tournament at John Hanson. We showed fantastic sportsmanship and fair-play. There were some tough games which we persevered and everyone tried their best. Out of 12 teams, Shipton 1 came 4th and Shipton 2 came 9th. A great afternoon!
Football Festival 2023
Some of our Year 3 and 4 children had the opportunity to represent our school in the Hampshire Football Festival 2023. We showed great determination and gave 100% effort throughout. A great time was had by all.
