The Governors
The Governors are appointed for a four year term and represent:
The Local Authority
The Parents
The Teachers
The Local Community
The Local Authority and School Governors share responsibility for the school, its building and the curriculum. The Head Teacher is responsible to the Governors for the day-to-day management and administration of the school and its curriculum. Their responsibility is in turn shared with school staff. The Governing Body and committees meet twice termly, but additional meetings by the Finance and Personnel Committee and Curriculum Committee may be called if and when the occasion demands.

Brian Boxall reappriases his position as Chair of the Finance Committee, whilst away with Year 6 at Bude.
Parent Governors
Parent Governors are your voice in decisions about how the school is run. They are elected by the parents through a ballot. If you have any queries, the names and contact numbers of your representatives are contained in this brochure. If you are interested in becoming a Parent Governor yourself, then let us know.
